Source: France-in-Space #386 ** 1: EADS, THALES & FINMECCANICA IN AGREEMENT ON THEIR ROLE IN GALILEO It was reported this week that EADS, Thales and Finmeccanica have reached an agreement in principle on the sharing of responsibilities for the development and implementation of the troubled Galileo satellite navigation system.
The world’s largest bolometer camera for submillimetre astronomy is now in service at the 12-m APEX , located on the 5100m high Chajnantor plateau in the Chilean Andes.
